Fort Morgan Police Department in Colorado needed an easy recording system that could be used in both their patrol interview rooms on the main floor as well as the interview room on the first floor. They needed the ability to record in all of these rooms while keeping the recording equipment in a central location.
A CaseCracker system was setup on the main floor near the patrol rooms. Both investigations and patrol use this area for report writing and interview monitoring. Using the CaseCracker Remote Client application, an investigator using the interview room in the basement can start and stop CaseCracker without having to go upstairs. Additionally using this application, the investigator can add flags and notes to the interview to mark key points in the interview.
